Simple Canvas Turns in to Cute Ornament

I bought this cute canvas at Amy's Golden Strand.  I am very sorry to say that I can't remember the designer.  I bought it for my MIL who is of Swedish descent and does red and white Christmases.

Going to Amy's Golden Strand!

One of my most favorite things to do is go to Memphis to visit Amy's Golden Strand.  Amy, Jill and all the girls at the shop are so warm and friendly.  It is such a treat!  This visit is for a Cooking Up a Canvas Class.  You select a canvas, Amy creates the guide and it's all waiting for you when you arrive.  Three days of heavenly fun ensue.  Lots of stitching, instruction and visiting for each day.

Here are some goodies from past Amy visits.  All stitch ideas are from Amy Bunger.

The Village of Hawk Run Hollow

I got out of order along the way so I am stitching on Block Seven even though I have finished Eight and Nine.

I ran out of the green floss for the lettering so I made a start on Block Ten.  I might actually finish this in 2017.  Nine years in the making!

Back to Posting!!!

I always hesitate to update my IPhone.  Inevitably something doesn't work after the update.  This time it was my ability to upload photos.  Finally had the time to figure it out so I'm back!

I finally finished this cute mini-angel from Painted Pony.  I hope my sister doesn't look at my blog because this is for her.  She's a Razorback from way back.  I do hope the charm is packed away somewhere.  I can't seem to find it but maybe Debbie will let my buy another one if I can't find it!
